Candidate
The ASCRS invites you to apply for Candidate Membership.
To be eligible for Candidacy in the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, an applicant must be actively enrolled in an accredited or approved residency program in general surgery, surgical oncology, or colon and rectal surgery. A person who is enrolled as a Research Fellow in one of these accredited or approved residency programs may also qualify as a Candidate member. This membership category is renewable annually contingent upon the Candidate’s continued enrollment in a residency program as evidenced by the signature of the program director, or by such other means as the Executive Council may from time to time determine.
Upon completion of residency training the Candidate may apply for Membership in the Society if he/she meets the qualifications for that category of membership.
